One year of Morstone Acres

I can’t even believe it’s been a year since my dreams came true and the chestnut boys came home!

Walking down the driveway

First time in his stall

When dreams come true <3

Some days having horses at home is exhausting and overwhelming. Some days I just don’t have enough time to do all the things for them I would like. Some days I am so full of pride over what we’ve built and how happy the horses are. Every day I’m so happy to give them the best retirement I can and see them graze outside from my windows.

Happy one year at home to my favorite chestnuts!

There is nothing like it. I am like you- some days I’m just wondering what the heck I was thinking but I don’t mean it. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

It can certainly be difficult sometimes but really there is something so awesome about having them right there all the time.

Thanks! It’s a work in progress but really turned out better than I ever imagined when I was designing everything.

Whoohooo! I SO respect horse owners who do it all themselves. I grew up with horses at my house, so I know first hand how hard it can be. Happy anniversary and kudos to you!

Thanks. It’s definitely a lot of work sometimes but I can’t imagine a better way for the chestnut boys to live out their golden years.
