There’s a new guy in town!

I’m so excited to say that my search for a new equine partner is over! Even more amazing this guy ticks so many boxes on my list of what I was looking for.

Maestro is a 17+ hand 6 year old Irish Sport Horse gelding. So far he’s shown himself to be a pretty chill dude at the busy boarding barn and he thinks food is the best thing ever.

I’m pretty smitten at this point and looking forward to getting to know him better!

Sadly his front shoes were pulled for the PPE so we are grounded until Monday when the farrier comes out. Although I admit to considering a bareback wander this weekend. What better way to see how your new horse handles things?

Excited to see what the future holds!

Welcome to the family Maestro!

Thank you! One of my friends has an ISH as well and I’m hoping Maestro will be just as good of a horse!

Yep still weirds me out a bit too! After a life of chestnuts I guess change was inevitable.
