Happy Birthday Stampede!

Hard to believe this big boy is twelve already. It may be part of a bigger quest for extra treats but Stampede was very good this week. He survived an alone ride outside with no drama and we had a spook free outdoor lesson on Saturday too. Maybe he’s growing up?

We had a nice easy hack today and he will get tomorrow off. We went out after our ride for a graze in some light rain. Of course the boys don’t care about rain when there is tasty grass!

P was super jealous of Stampede getting so much attention and kept calling to me while I was taking care of Stampede after my ride. He quickly recovered after some grazing time though!

Now to relax for a while before heading back to the barn to feed and water the ponies tonight. I have some more special treats at the ready for the birthday boy and his brother.
