Some other highlights from our horse show weekend - trail riding and hanging out with chickens. There was also lots of grass eating. #earnest #hesachestnut

First outdoor show of the season is in the books.

First outdoor show of the season is in the books. Here are both rounds of Ernie and me in the Harry Klentner Memorial Classic last weekend. The first round is our best course of the weekend I think. I included the second round as well, although not clean (because that’s life, and we still had fun). You can see we were both losing steam around 9pm. Also, Ernie says trot jumps in a course are the worst. We will forever be working on that. 😂 We ended up in 8th place and I got best adult rider.

As an adult, going to shows is when I get to spend extra time with Ernie and I treasure it so much.

Thank you to all my barn friends who hung out late to watch and support us!
