All the Things

What will follow is random catch up and pictures of the cutest ponies ever!

First thing, I started an items for sale page on the blog, so check that out. Most exciting item there currently is a brand new pair of Tekna boots at less than retail. The tack shop I purchased them from is an hour away so a return didn’t happen within the required window.

So fancy but don't fit :(

Mr. P and I had been trucking along with our flat rides and lessons but I was feeling like he was getting less inclined to use his hind end. Since Mr. P is the most willing beast I know, I decided to have him checked by the lameness guy who agreed he could use injections in his hocks and stifles, so P was injected on Tuesday.

So P got a few days off then proceeded to get what appears to be an abscess. So now we are waiting and not riding. Boo!

On the Stampede front we’ve started to work back towards a regular schedule of some form of exercise.

I still can’t believe I’ve been working with this horse for 9 years, makes me feel old!

Is my head really that small or his head really that big?

Stampede managed to rip just one strap on his turnout sheet (which is being retired/sold at the end of this season since it’s now too small). So now I will get to repair it too before I sell it!

The most exciting night of this week was Tuesday when I did something I hadn’t done for 4 months.

Feels like home!

I got on Stampede and walked for 15 minutes. He felt very large and very long-necked. I missed this view so much!

While I was working on Friday my friend Christie sent me these cute Snapchats of the boys.

While I’m about to be completely buried at work I’m so excited that I can see the light at the end of the tax season tunnel. Less than 3 weeks until I can go back to spending lots of quality time with my two favorite ponies!

Riding Stampede at the walk is better than no riding at all!

Haha the snap chats are awesome! I wish those leathers were shorter.

Yeah the leathers are long. Where do I find a tall person besides myself to buy them? I’ve thought about making them cheaper just to see if that will get them gone, but they are nice leathers…
