Friendship

Today one of my best friends, J, came out to ride with me. We met many years ago, back when I had my first horse, Zipper, and she was leasing a pony from a camp for the summer. Needless to say, it’s been a few years since we met! So she rode Mr. P, and I of course had Stampede. We lucked out and got to ride in the grass show ring since all of the classes were done in there.

We had a good time. She looked like she never stopped riding, even though she hasn’t been on a horse since the last time she rode P which was at least a year ago. I guess it’s like riding a bike! Both of the boys were good.

Here are some of the pictures I took at finals a couple of weeks ago of Christie and her horse Mikey. I think I got a few really cute ones.

Road trip to MSU with Stampede tomorrow. I will try to be good and take pictures this time around since I will be there for the injections and such.
