I’m evidently not very good at taking pictures of Stampede while he’s on vacation. He’s been fairly boring and was looking sound when I trotted him in hand tonight so I will probably throw him on the lunge line this weekend to evaluate.
P has been a busy pony. I did a flat lesson with the handsome older gentleman on Tuesday and had a lot of fun. There are some things that are just so much easier to do on Phoenix, like sitting the trot and really sitting up. P also loves to do lessons, I’m sure because he likes to work, so he always gets extra energetic and happy.
Tonight P and I headed out with my friend Christie for a trail ride before we got down to business. It was chilly out but still enjoyable. Followed that up with a nice flat ride out in the field.
What an amazing trail ride scenery!!
It was a nice view for a ride. Something about walking along with the leaves crunching under your horse’s feet that is just so relaxing.
that field looks super inviting for riding – so flat!
Well everything is flat around here, lol. I do agree it’s a great place to ride though, definitely my favorite part of the property.
