So for my birthday I went a bit of a shopping spree at the tack shop (Thanks mom and husband). I will share my other purchases later, but I have a very important question.
Which horse should get this ear bonnet?
Stampede (does this look too small as far as coming down in front?)
OR
Phoenix (whose ears stop about an inch below the tips of bonnet ears, would need to take those in, hee hee)

And I do plan to make this bonnet extra fancy with some add ons too!

Oh, Phoenix, no question. Look at the way the little triangular patch perfectly lines up with his blaze! And I just like blue and white against each other.

Bonnets, one of my favorite things! Definitely Phoenix, it fits him better. It stops too high up on Stampede’s face for my taste but I’m really picky about that. Taking the ears in is pretty easy!
That was my thought, that it didn’t come far enough down on him, but my (non-horsey) husband thought I was crazy and it looked too big on Phoenix, lol. Altering would be easier if I owned a sewing machine, lol.
I altered the ears on one of mine by hand. It’s pretty quick since they’re small. I refuse to own a sewing machine.
What’s wrong with a sewing machine? Lol. I’m most excited to make the bonnet fancy!
my mom is a quilter and used to make me sew all the time. I refuse to own any sewing paraphernalia.
